The village has much to offer. The international community of Las Lajas has developed small but cute restaurants that offer everything from local cuisine to culinary delights. Las Lajas is centrally located in Chiriquí region, from where you can reach impressive tourist destinations for day trips. From the beach, to horseback riding by the sea, to plant life and great natural spectacles, there is much to experience in the immediate area. The surrounding villages and regions, which can be reached in less than half an hour by bus or rental car, also have a lot to offer.

Our green and lively garden area always offers great experiences from early in the morning until late at night. Toucans, iguanas, hummingbirds, freshwater turtles and many native species are regular guests enjoying the sun and fresh greenery of the garden. So you don’t even have to go far to enjoy the animals of the jungle.
Sea turtles on the beach of “Las Lajas” Chiriqui
The long sandy beach directly in front of our coast serves many sea turtles like the olive bastard turtle and the large green sea turtle as a place to lay their eggs. From October to November, the little turtles hatch and start their exciting life in the ocean. A local organization takes care of the protection of the nests, so that the endangered species continue to populate the Pacific.
