This is exactly what you can expect during your stopover or longer stay at our Finca de la Suerte.
In one of the greenest regions of Panama in Chiriqui, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and the longest sandy beach of Central America, in the idyllic village “Las Lajas” you will stay with Andrea and Detlef in a family and pet friendly atmosphere. The finca is under German management and offers you an absolutely clean and comfortable standard. With us you can let your soul dangle and completely get involved with the country and its originality.
Here vacation dreams come true!
In 2018, the emigration to paradise began for us and we quickly knew that we also want to bring other travelers and vacationers this special place in the sun. In just one year we built our “Finca de la Suerte”, where real vacation dreams come true. A beautiful garden with chic furnished guest houses/apartments and a huge pool leave nothing to be desired.
On your way to the main tourist destinations of Panama, like Boca Chica, Boquete and Bocas del Toro, a stop at the most beautiful and longest beach of the country and even of Central America is worthwhile.
The 14 km long coastline invites to lonely walks, because this insider tip of Panama is sometimes still deserted. The low waves, the comfortable sandy seabed, the warm current of the coastal waters and the gentle descent into the water make Las Lajas a great vacation spot. Along the beach there are some hotels, bungalows and small private restaurants with good food.
The climate is perfect almost year-round for sunbathing or admiring the biodiverse nature and birdlife, while a cool swim in the Pacific offers the best relaxation.

Our double rooms and apartments
In our well-kept green oasis, in the center of which there is a large pool for holistic use, there are 4 modernly furnished and spacious rooms, each with its own terrace and a comfortably equipped kitchen including coffee maker and stove.
Under the motto Terra (Two apartments with separate bedroom for 4 persons) y Mar (Two spacious double rooms for 2 persons each) couples, families with children and also small four-legged friends will find a comfortable place to sleep and stay. The beautiful murals inside and out completely reflect the ambiance and breathtaking nature of Panama.
Enjoy a relaxing day by the pool and in the sun, while hummingbirds, toucans, parrots and iguanas visit you regularly. On a warm summer evening you will be enchanted by the beautiful sunset, which accompanies you into the relaxing night all year round.
Our apartments at a reasonable price
Each room is equipped with a kitchen, where you will find everything you need for cooking and serving. For an extensive breakfast on your own terrace directly in front of the apartment and in the garden you will find several supermarkets in the village only a few meters away from the finca. Also ingredients for a delicious lunch and dinner can be bought here. Fresh fruits and natural products can be found at fruit and vegetable stands and of course we are happy to give you one or the other tip where you can enjoy the specialties of the country. Fresh fish is of course at the top of the menu here and so there is not far away the small fishing village Remedios, where you can buy the best from the sea freshly caught and absolutely cheap. And if you don’t want to cook yourself, you can simply enjoy the restaurants in town.
WiFi
All rooms and apartments have a stable and included WIFI that is also available on the premises of the resort.
We love your four-legged family members (Please with advance notice!)
Your furry roommates will also get their money’s worth here. The spacious grounds and the long beach are perfect for walking and there is always something new to discover. Dogs are always welcome and can move freely here. You can buy pet food everywhere and there is enough space in the room for your faithful companion on four paws to sleep. Please always let us know in advance if you are coming with dogs, as we also want to consider other guests of the facility. Thank you!
Our oasis with pool
With a length of about 12 meters, our pool is ideal for swimmers. The depth is 2 meters, so we always advise our guests to watch out for non-swimmers and small children. On our comfortable sun loungers you can relax wonderfully after an eventful day.
Arrival and parking
From the Interamericana, after a short turn at the sign “Las Lajas” and a 10-minute drive, you will reach us very quickly. You can reach us comfortably with every vehicle, because all roads and ways to us are perfectly developed and also no altitude meters are to be overcome. On our large parking lot you can park any vehicle from motorcycle, van and SUV to camper super easy. The use of the parking lot is of course included in the accommodation price during your entire stay.
Check-in and check-out times
On the day of arrival you can check-in from 12 pm at the earliest. Check-out on the day of departure is possible until 10 am.
Payment
Please note that in our Finca de la Suerte only cash payments are possible. On the way and at the crossing to Las Lajas, directly at the Interamericana, the small village San Felix starts. There, next to the supermarket, are three ATMs that accept all major credit cards.
